Lizeth Torres is graduated with a PhD in Automation from INP Grenoble in 2011. Her
doctoral dissertation was titled: Models and observers for pressurized flow systems. She worked as a temporary researcher and assistant professor (ATER) for the department of Automatic Control of
GIPSA-LAB. She is currently a full time research staff member at the Engineering Institute of UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) and works as lecturer at the Faculty of Enginering of
UNAM. Her research is focused on hydroinformatics, modeling, estimation, optimization, fault diagnosis and supervision of pipelines, water distribution networks and transmission lines.
